Summer
The days are longer and the weather is milder – it’s springtime! Soon the last snow will have disappeared, making room for the snowdrops which are peeping out of the ground and reaching up to the sun. The Sesto Dolomites are now at their best. Whether you like hiking, walking, cycling, mountain-biking or climbing, the Dolomites are a true paradise for anyone who loves life.
Come and enjoy the amazing world of the Dolomites, with its landscape full of contrasts and spectacular vistas. The cable cars for the Alta Pusteria hiking area will quickly take you up one of the many mountains, very popular destinations for excursions. On the Alta Via Carnica, you can enjoy some truly breath-taking views, the ultimate high-altitude experience. The so-called "Via della Pace" offers 30 peaks for you to conquer, with 11 refuge huts and lots of adventures.
Winter
With 115 km of ski-slopes, 31 chair-lifts and cable-cars, convenient links between ski areas and pure enjoyment on the snow – it’s no wonder that the Sesto Dolomites ski station is so popular! But cross-country skiers and hikers can also have lots of fun in winter. From early December till Easter there is so much to enjoy: 200 km of cross-country ski trails and paths through enchanting valleys, woods and meadows!

NEWS in winter 2020/21
Everything new is made in ... WINTER. Also this year the ski resort was extended by a new lift system. The cable car Monte Elmo Sesto, which has been in operation since 1981, is replaced by the new detachable premium 10-seater "HELMJET Sexten" gondola lift.
In addition to the new lift system, there has been added a new slope to the ski resort. The blue slope "Moos-Sexten" leads from the Drei Zinnen slope to Monte Elmo. Thanks to this new slope the whole family can easily master the new ski connection between Monte Elmo and Croda Rossa.
